Maintenance Operations Manager

This role oversees the upkeep and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and services to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing annual budgets for approval and ensuring departments operate within approved limits
  • Participating in feasibility studies and analyses of engineering and maintenance projects requiring inputs from Engineering
  • Preparing and submitting CAPEX proposals, tracking progress, and responding to management inquiries in a timely manner
  • Managing approved projects within budget and timeline constraints
  • Scheduling and managing preventative maintenance programs to preserve equipment lifespan

Additionally, this position involves:

  • Ensuring all equipment, services, and supplies are of optimal quality and procured at competitive rates
  • Coordinating maintenance work plans with various departments to minimize downtime and impact on operations and guest experience
  • Resolving downtime or service issues promptly, performing service recovery where necessary, and logging issues with clear details and tracking time taken to resolve them

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Trade qualifications essential, with Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) certification a plus
  • Experience in managing large-scale CAPEX projects
  • Administrative skills, including budgeting and performance management
  • Supervisory experience
