Endpoint Engineering Operations Manager

The endpoint engineering operations manager plays a pivotal role in the success of our company. This individual oversees the day-to-day management of end-user solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. From designing to deploying and maintaining end-user environments, this role empowers customers to transform their businesses and enhance user experience.

Reporting to the Intelligent Workspace group, the endpoint engineering operations manager is responsible for leading automation efforts, driving improvements, and overseeing daily operations with minimal supervision. This involves fostering a high-performance culture within the team, leveraging technical expertise, and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to team members, promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Automation and Efficiency: Lead efforts to automate processes, drive improvements, and optimize resource allocation, resulting in increased efficiency and productivity.
  • Risk Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the integrity of end-user environments.
  • Governance and Compliance: Develop and implement governance frameworks to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Shift Left Initiatives: Assist in identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to the Service Improvement register.
  • Project Evaluation: Evaluate project design principles to ensure service improvements, efficiencies, and cost reductions post-implementation.

Requirements:
  • Customer Support: Possess a comprehensive understanding of supporting customers across an outsourced delivery environment.
  • Operational Management: Demonstrate previous operational management experience within a Managed Services Environment.
  • Financial Acumen: Exhibit excellent financial knowledge surrounding profit and loss.
  • Vendor Management: Familiarity with hardware and software vendors' support processes, including product lifecycles.
  • End User Management: Advanced End User management knowledge.
  • MDM/Endpoint Management Solutions: Experience with Modern and traditional End Point Device Management Solutions (SCCM, Intune, AutoPilot, and other MDM/endpoint management solutions).
  • Operating System Configuration & Deployment: Microsoft Operating System Configuration & Deployment (Win10-Win11).
  • Collaboration Platforms: Collaboration Platforms (Teams for Business, Planner).
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both technical and non-technical contexts.
  • Autonomy: Ability to operate under limited direction.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Delegation: Effective delegation skills, clearly outlining expectations and accountability.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to interface with all levels of management, internal and external.
  • Team Building: Capacity to build a cohesive team and collaborate with large teams.
