Governance Risk and Compliance Senior Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Senior Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Risk and Compliance function, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and managing risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance processes.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the compliance plan and assist first-line teams in closing processes and control gaps required for regulatory compliance.
- Test privacy, AML, and compliance controls, including GDPRA and Australian Credit Licence requirements.
- Monitor risk dashboards and provide insights to support business decision-making.
- Regulatory reform monitoring and advising the business on upcoming regulatory changes.
- Uplift the risk register, simplifying it for line 1 management.
- Own and independently deliver the process of collating Board and Committee papers, including executive committees, and assist the company secretary.
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Law, or Accounting.
- Proven Compliance/Risk experience in financial services or Big 4 Consultancy.
- Excellent organisation skills and a proactive approach.
- Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
- Driven personality with a desire to learn and develop.
- Ability to work in a broad role with varying tasks and responsibilities.
