About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Governance Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our team at EFinancialCareers Ltd. in Sydney CBD. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in managing IT risk and cybersecurity governance processes, performing risk reviews, supervising junior team members, and overseeing cybersecurity assessments and monitoring for our equity businesses and subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage the IT risk management framework for the headquarters
- Conduct regular risk assessments
- Develop and enhance cybersecurity assessment frameworks
- Implement and manage continuous security monitoring of the external attack surface, and track remediation of identified cyber risks
- Contribute to the development of strategies to improve cybersecurity governance
- Provide guidance on cybersecurity and IT matters
- Identify cybersecurity risks and develop risk management strategies
- Monitor and review upcoming legislative and regulatory changes related to cybersecurity and privacy
- Assist in responding to cybersecurity incidents for equity businesses when necessary
Requirements:
- Practical knowledge of ASD Essential Eight (E8) and NIST CSF
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and common security frameworks, including APRA CPS230/CPS234, CIS Controls, ISO 27001
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and legislation, such as the Australian Corporations Act and Privacy Act
