
Project Workplace Relations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior People Advisor to join our team.
The role involves providing expert support and advice to leaders and employees on all workplace relations matters, recommending and supporting the implementation of HR strategies in collaboration with the People Manager, leading and developing the HR Coordinator, building team capability and effectiveness.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Law, Finance or other associated disciplines, 3-5 years' experience in a human resources advisory role, strong knowledge of national and state regulatory frameworks, demonstrated experience in managing employee relations and performance matters.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support and advice to leaders and employees on all workplace relations matters.
- Recommend and support the implementation of HR strategies in collaboration with the People Manager.
- Lead and develop the HR Coordinator, building team capability and effectiveness.
- Oversee the full range of people management activities including recruitment, remuneration, employee relations, and offboarding / demobilisation.
- Recommend strategies to enhance employee performance and contribute to successful project outcomes.
- Provide accurate data, insights, and reporting on HR activities to support continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- A degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Law, Finance or other associated disciplines.
- 3-5 years' experience in a human resources advisory role.
- Strong knowledge of national and state regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations and performance matters.
