Hotel Services Assistant

About the Role:

We are inviting expressions of interest from Commercial Cookery students eager to kick-start their career in aged care.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a supportive team environment while having autonomy in your day. You will be responsible for delivering resident-centric care in a timely and compassionate manner, enabling residents to live a happy, healthy and safe life in our homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As part of our aged care facility, you will help ensure the well-being of residents by preparing and delivering nutritious meals in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Prepare daily meals and beverages that meet the individual needs of each resident, including special dietary requirements.
  • Demonstrate excellent safety awareness, adhering to hygiene and sanitation protocols in food preparation and serving areas.
  • Bring genuine care and compassion to meal times, making each dining experience enjoyable for our elderly residents.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment; arriving on time, staying informed, and supporting colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Eligible to work in Australia and living in the local community.
  • Prior experience in preparing and delivering meals in a commercial environment.
  • Must have NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or ability to apply for one.
