Our Personal Carer Workers (PCWs) are highly interactive, supporting our elderly residents, their families, and colleagues 7 days a week across AM, PM, and Night shifts. This role, based at Infinite Care Ipswich | Aged Care, involves working closely with the nursing, hospitality, and resident engagement teams to perform resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner. You will be supported by highly skilled senior carers and managers. The attached position description outlines specific job duties and responsibilities.

About You

Ideally, you have worked in the Aged Care sector for at least 1 year and possess the ability to think on your feet, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers. Additionally, you will:

  • Possess qualifications in Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) OR have completed 1st-year nursing studies with a placement in Aged Care. We also recognize other Cert III courses in related healthcare studies.
  • Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or be willing to obtain it, as it is essential for working in the Aged Care sector.
  • Have excellent safety awareness to prevent residents from tripping, falling, or injuring themselves—be their extra eyes and ears
  • Demonstrate a positive teamwork attitude, reliability, excellent time management (including shift handovers), and strict adherence to safety procedures to maintain high safety standards.
