RSM is seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Expert to join our team in Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with planning and control of small to medium engagements and performing technical tasks and research on large engagements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare valuations for M&A activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency;
  • Assist in the preparation of Independent Expert's Reports for ASIC and ASX purposes, leveraging your knowledge of financial regulations;
  • Conduct research and analysis to support expert witness reports for litigation and family law purposes;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to prepare purchase price allocation valuation reports for accounting for business acquisitions;
  • Develop and maintain expertise in valuing options and other financial derivatives;
  • Manage assignment files and administer related documentation.
Education Requirements:
  • A Business/Commerce degree with an Accounting Major is essential for this role;
  • A Chartered Accountant (CA) designation or equivalent is desirable but not required.
Demonstrated Experience & Attributes:
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in Professional Services, preferably in a similar role;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously;
  • Capacity to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team environment;
  • Desirable: strong analytical skills and networking abilities.
