Electrical Design Drafter Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a drafter for our team, collaborating with experienced engineers to develop detailed designs and documentation.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in drafting medium and high-voltage secondary systems, proficiency in AutoCAD, and knowledge of MicroStation. They will also be able to interpret and implement design information provided by engineers and managers.

Tertiary studies are highly regarded, and experience working on utility and/or renewable energy projects is desirable.

As a member of our team, you will contribute to nation-shaping projects that power communities and enable renewable energy connections. You will work within a supportive team where your expertise will help shape innovative and practical designs.

About the Role
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop detailed designs and documentation.
  • Interpret and implement design information provided by engineers and managers.
  • Develop skills and knowledge in drafting medium and high-voltage secondary systems.
Requirements
  • Experience in drafting medium and high-voltage secondary systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of MicroStation is favourable.
  • Ability to interpret and implement design information.
  • Tertiary studies are highly regarded.
  • Desirable experience working on utility and/or renewable energy projects.
