Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Electronics Engineer to join our team and contribute to the end-to-end development and deployment of our quantum sensors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and updating electronic systems, components, and equipment, as well as collaborating with engineers, scientists, and other professionals to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive test and evaluation plans and procedures to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Design, inspect, test, and update electronic systems, components, and equipment to meet stringent health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed to exact specifications.
  • Evaluate existing processes and provide recommendations for enhancement to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop robust maintenance, testing, and quality control procedures to ensure seamless operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in electronics and demonstrate proactive initiative in applying new knowledge to drive innovation.
  • Monitor processes and systems, establish effective relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Write specifications, instructions, reports, and handle necessary administrative duties to support project success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Systems, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Australian Citizenship or PR Holder.
  • Proficiency in PCB design using Altium Designer.
  • Experience in programming in embedded C, C++, and Python.
  • Analogue and Digital circuit design expertise.
  • Miniaturized electronics knowledge.
  • Debugging and fault-finding circuit skills.
  • Surface mount assembly and rework experience.
