We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract with potential to extend. As an embedded firmware and hardware engineer, you will play a key role in supporting a range of IOT devices and contributing to the development of condition-based monitoring products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop embedded firmware and hardware for IOT devices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve device stability and battery life
- Develop and implement ultra-low power designs and energy harvesting solutions
- Work with STM32 M4 series microcontrollers and IOT technologies such as LWM2M
- Debug and troubleshoot devices using JTAG and other tools
- Design and develop end-of-line test systems
- Relevant degree and minimum 3-5 years' experience in electronics engineering
- Digital and analog design experience, including PCB layout
- Embedded programming experience and knowledge of communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, GPIO, and UART
- Experience with battery-powered devices, energy harvesting, and ultra-low power designs
- Experience with modems, NB-IOT/CAT-M1, LoRaWAN, and Bluetooth
- Experience with high-speed capture and processing of AC power signals
