Role Overview
Nomad Atomics is a pioneering company in the field of quantum sensing, aiming to make this technology a commercial reality. We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge quantum sensors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test and evaluation plans and procedures.
- Design, inspect, test, and update electronic systems, components, and equipment.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, scientists, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed to exact specifications.
- Ensure all equipment and products meet stringent health and safety regulations.
- Evaluate existing processes and provide recommendations for enhancement.
- Develop robust maintenance, testing, and quality control procedures.
- Demonstrate proactive initiative in staying abreast of advancements in Electronics.
- Monitor processes and systems, establish effective relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers.
- Write specifications, instructions, reports, and handle necessary administrative duties.
- Proficient in using laboratory instruments such as Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, etc.
- Experienced in PCB design using Altium Designer.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the PCB assembly process with expertise in PCB component soldering, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Requirements
We are looking for an Electronics Engineer with a genuine passion for electronics, ideally someone dynamic, agile, and enthusiastic who thrives in a multidisciplinary team environment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Systems, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline, and experience in programming in embedded C, C++, and Python.
