Senior Rocket Operations Manager

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the aerospace industry, with a strong background in operations management. Key responsibilities include leading and managing a team of technicians, ensuring smooth production workflows, and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the Structures team across multiple shifts
  • Implement and manage assignments associated with rocket assembly and testing
  • Develop and deliver training to technicians on best-in-class operations practices
  • Prepare and assist in preparing technical reports as required
  • Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineers to evaluate designs for manufacturability and test requirements

Requirements:

  • Level 3 trade qualification in Aerospace, Fitting, or similar trade
  • At least 5+ years of experience in the aerospace, manufacturing, marine, or automotive industry
  • NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience gained through the military or within an aviation manufacturing company
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools and power tools
  • High-volume manufacturing experience
