Composite Technician

We are seeking a skilled Composite Technician to join our team. As a key member of our rocket manufacturing process, you will be responsible for performing composites manufacturing tasks to the highest standard.

The successful candidate will have a trade qualification in Polymer Processing or similar, as well as relevant experience in composite manufacturing. You will be required to obtain and clear a NV Level 1 Security Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform composites manufacturing tasks to the highest standard.
  • Operate filament winders (training provided).
  • Identify and solve issues as they arise.
  • Develop quality parts with increasing efficiency.
  • Trim and finish composite parts and assemblies.
  • Repair composite defects.
  • Handle hazardous materials according to company policies and procedures.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for composite manufacturing processes.
  • Communicate timelines for fabrication and integration of composite structures.
  • Work with Engineering to design jigs and tooling for efficient manufacture of composite parts.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification in Polymer Processing or similar.
