Conflicts and Compliance Specialist

About the Role:

This role involves being a key member of the Conflicts Team, providing valuable input to internal stakeholders on conflicts of interest and compliance-related matters. Key duties include performing and analyzing conflicts of interest searches, liaising with partners, reviewing clients for reputational and financial risks, and advising on legal and commercial risks.

  • Perform thorough conflicts of interest searches and analyze results to identify potential risks.
  • Liaise with local and global partners to manage potential conflicts and information barriers.
  • Conduct reviews of prospective clients to assess their reputation and financial stability.
  • Assist in reviewing contractual arrangements and advise on associated legal and commercial risks.
  • Provide general legal support and assistance to the General Counsel and Risk team.

Requirements:

We seek a Conflicts or Risk Lawyer (or Analyst) with 1-3 years of PQE and relevant corporate, commercial, and/or compliance experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent research and analytical skills, attention to detail, and be eager to learn.
