Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Manager Freight Strategy to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop regulatory and pricing frameworks, as well as governance and assurance activities for TAM (Transport Asset Management).
  • Manage commercial arrangements for public and third-party rail operators.
  • Oversee management of, and performance, rail access administration and contract management.
  • Lead annual compliance reporting to IPART, coordinating data gathering, drafting, preparing and obtaining approval of submissions.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the reform of NSW rail and influence change for our customers and community.

You will join a collaborative team bringing your sense of enthusiasm and fun. Together we will support each other to create meaningful change within the NSW rail network.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated senior economic commercial experience in a regulated asset delivery environment.
  • Expert knowledge and application of regulatory frameworks in large and complex commercial organisations.
  • Demonstrated infrastructure pricing experience in regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial negotiations.

This role requires weekly Sydney travel. Flexible working conditions can be considered for regional applicants.
