About the Role

We are seeking a talented Corporate Counsel to join our Amazon Legal team, supporting Project Kuiper. As a key member of our team, you will be embedded with the Kuiper business and operations teams, focusing on deals in APAC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Structure, draft, and negotiate agreements for services and customer terminals
  • Counsel the business team on legal issues related to Kuiper's enterprise and sales business
  • Develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways
  • Build processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly
Requirements
  • 5+ years of legal experience
  • Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
  • Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, outsourcing, telecommunications, cloud computing services or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
