About the Role
We are seeking a talented Senior Lawyer to join our Amazon Legal team, supporting Project Kuiper. As a key member of our team, you will be embedded with the Kuiper business and operations teams, focusing on deals in APAC.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure, draft, and negotiate a range of agreements, including service and customer terminal sales agreements.
- Counsel the business team on legal issues related to Kuiper's enterprise and sales business.
- Develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways and build processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.
Requirements
- 5+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, outsourcing, telecommunications, cloud computing services or equivalent
- Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
