About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Turf Management Specialist to join our team at Green by Nature. As a key member of our landscape care team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our turf areas to ensure they remain lush, healthy, and resilient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Enhancement: Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, aerating, and topdressing to uphold the quality and playability of turf surfaces.
  • Turf Health Monitoring: Monitor turf health and proactively address issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction through appropriate cultural and chemical practices.
  • Sustainable Practices: Implement sustainable turf management practices, including water conservation strategies, and pest management techniques.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain specialized turf equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the landscaping team to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and deliver exceptional results.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their expectations, address concerns, and provide turf care recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Sports Turf Management
  • Cricket Wicket experience (desirable)
  • Previous experience in turf management, greenkeeping, or a related field preferred
  • Knowledge of turfgrass species, growth habits, and maintenance requirements
  • Familiarity with turf care equipment and machinery, including mowers, aerators, and sprayers
