Job Title: Team Manager, Case Management

At Tal Services Limited, we are seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead our Claims Consultants and Service Officers in delivering exceptional claims handling and a seamless service experience.

This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity that requires a strong operational oversight, portfolio management, stakeholder engagement, and capability development across the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement, driving localised process enhancements, and embedding best practices in claims handling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective operational strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and risk management.
  • Lead a team of Claims Consultants and Service Officers to deliver exceptional claims handling and a seamless service experience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with TAL's values and claims philosophy.
  • Stay up-to-date with life insurance guidelines, industry changes, and TAL policies to ensure claims handling reflects best practice.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar team manager role within Financial Services/Insurance Industry or 5 years' experience in a Claims Consultant (or similar) role.
  • Strong knowledge of Insurance (Preference given to Life Insurance experience).
  • Demonstrated experience in operational management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Sound knowledge of claims handling practices.
  • Sound knowledge of the Life Insurance Code of Practice and associated assessment and operational requirements.
