About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Technical Lead to oversee the conception, coordination, and delivery of intricate rail and transit systems across diverse engineering projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive the development, integration, and completion of complex rail and transit systems.
  • Evaluate solutions, cultivate enduring relationships with clients, and drive technical and commercial outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of technical proficiency, client satisfaction, and efficient project management within the engineering team.
  • Provide expert guidance and support throughout complex projects and strategic opportunities.
Key Qualifications:
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Chartered Engineer (Mechanical Engineering) certification in Australia, with the ability to register in applicable states.
  • A strong background in Mechanical Engineering and Systems Integration is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of EN50126 and EN50129 as applied to the rail environment in Australia is necessary.
  • Experience with specialized engineering processes: RAM, Human Factors, Safety, and Cyber Security is desirable.
