The Eyres and Far North Local Health Network is seeking a compassionate and skilled Residential Aged Care Worker to provide high-quality care to residents in our Residential Care Home.
About the RoleThis Direct Care Worker will be responsible for assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and continence management. The successful candidate will work closely with health professionals to support residents' mobility, personal care, and medication management, ensuring they live comfortably and with dignity.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support residents' mobility, personal care, and medication management.
- Provide a high standard of care and create a welcoming environment for residents.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse residents and staff.
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
- Previous experience in a care environment or a similar role.
- Relevant AQF Certificate III qualification.
