Telecommunications Regulatory Specialist

This role involves collaborating with senior and junior regulatory experts to develop strategic initiatives, formulating objectives and strategies to improve telecommunications market outcomes. The Implementation Plan will be developed to put in place the strategy.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience developing telecommunication facility access codes or third-party infrastructure sharing regimes in a national telecommunications regulator or had a meaningful role in supporting its development or shaping such regulation. Experience developing civil construction and power standards mandated for use in telecommunications infrastructure by an NTR or sufficient knowledge to converse with civil and electrical engineers is also desirable. Knowledge of ACCC Facility Access Code and AMTA and stakeholder consultation codes is a plus.
