Expert Telecommunications Role

We are seeking a skilled telecommunications professional to fill this position in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your expertise in hardware and software knowledge of Ericsson mobile voice and packet core products, network engineering, with a focus on customer service management and agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Mission Technical Product Owner (TPO), product managers, and senior technical leads to deliver requirements for quarterly operational key results (OKRs).
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to service availability, optimisation and enhancement of model Telco cloud, mobile voice, packet and subscriber management entities.
  • E2E ownership of a service availability, incident and change management, escalations, daily health, user notifications, managing embargos to support critical testing, demos and POCs for a functional area (such as Telco cloud, mobile packet, voice or subscriber management).
  • Identify and promote best practice in knowledge management and innovation.
  • Service availability monitoring, configuration data handling and loading, correction packages, data integrity checks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise on multi wireless domains such as Packet core, Voice Core areas.
  • Mobile Core Skills in 4G & 5G architecture and E2E call flows.
  • Experience with Telco cloud and IP Networking.
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience in Agile and scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of E2E monitoring, load testing and investigative tools; NetScout, Wireshark, SPLUNK, New Relic, etc.
