Telcommunications Regulatory Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications Regulatory Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex licensing schedules and dependencies at scale and driving teams to deliver to meet service availability objectives.

Key responsibilities include defining and managing complex licensing schedules and dependencies at scale, building and organizing reporting mechanisms, managing tools and dashboards to provide transparent program management status to all customers and stakeholders, extracting regulatory compliance requirements from license authorizations, assigning responsibilities, and assessing risks.

As a senior member of our team, you will work closely with other leaders within the Regulatory Team and across Kuiper to manage technical and regulatory requirements and dependencies. You will design mechanisms to manage complex compliance and licensing processes, automate and streamline processes, track progress, anticipate bottlenecks, communicate regulatory risks clearly to leaders, escalate effectively, and remove blockers.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 6+ years of experience driving business and technical discussions/alignment, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • 3+ years of Telecommunications regulatory experience
  • Experience using and customizing project management tools
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvement
  • Experience with licensing telecommunications systems globally
  • Knowledge of non-geostationary satellite communications systems
