Job Overview

The Regulatory Communications Specialist - APAC role serves as the primary point of contact for project compliance obligations with Asia Pacific telecommunications regulators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage directly with APAC Regulators to drive Kuiper Compliance strategy and advocate on behalf of the company's policy priorities
  • Develop mechanisms to ensure timely and accurate filing of complex communications service provider compliance filings
  • Align with Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, Public Policy and Global Expansions teams on strategy for Communications Service Provider compliance matters
  • Ensure timely and accurate compliance filings related to regulatory obligations arising from Project Kuiper's status as a communications service provider (e.g., revenue reporting, subscribership reports, outage reporting, customer complaints)
Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience in regulatory advocacy supporting complex compliance requirements
  • Background in Telecommunications/Satellite industry or other highly regulated sectors on compliance matters
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Direct knowledge of APAC communications regulatory frameworks preferred
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external clients
  • Experience working directly with regulators on communications compliance obligations
  • Ability to translate complex compliance requirements into operational processes
  • Proficiency in second APAC language skills preferred
