The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Collections Officer to join our Asset Management team for Nissan's Financial Services.

You will be responsible for managing the Mercantile Agent work and Repossession (Remarketing) process, liaising with panel members of Mercantile Agents and Auction Houses to effectively process and action all contracts under this portfolio.

By bringing your superior customer-centric skills and strong work ethic, you will drive positive outcomes for both customers and the business, resulting in high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive first call resolution and offer customers the best solution that meets their financial obligations
  • Adhere to collections debt and NCCP consumer guidelines
  • Support the department delinquency by contributing individually to the business target
  • Work with external vendors/companies to realise the best outcome
  • Exposure to late-stage/complex collections and the asset management process

As a Collections Officer, you will also be working for a manager who is genuinely committed to professional development and succession planning within the business.

  • Strong collections experience in financial services
  • Ability to deal with complex collections accounts
  • Experience working with high levels of verbal and written interaction
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder engagement
  • Organised, autonomous, and able to manage your time effectively
