The NSW Police Force has an opportunity for a Policy & Programs Officer to be part of our Aboriginal Strategy and Coordination Team.
This role assists with policy and program development, analysis and advice on operational policy and program initiatives and commitments within the NSW Police Force.
Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification as authorised by Part 5, Clause 26 of the Government Sector Employment Rules 2014.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing policies and programs that benefit Aboriginal communities.
- Provide research and analysis to support policy decisions.
- Build relationships and facilitate collaboration with key stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Applicants must meet one of the following statuses: a permanent resident of Australia or a New Zealand citizen.
Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check and obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.
