We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our registration team and contribute to the delivery of excellent public services.

About the Role
  • Lead a dedicated team of registration experts and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and national targets.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance customer experience.
  • Represent the service at internal and external meetings and contribute to strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of statutory registration processes and ceremonial services.

About You:

  • You will be passionate about delivering exceptional results and making a positive impact on our community.

Requirements:

  • Certificate of Proficiency in the Law and Practice of Registration in Scotland.
  • Significant experience in a local authority registration service, preferably with a focus on leadership and management.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a tactful and empathetic approach, enabling you to build effective relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
