Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Strategist to join our team in Brisbane CBD. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for driving the procurement strategy and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex procurement initiatives from tender development to contract negotiation and management.
  • Provide strategic procurement advice to key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers and internal clients to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative procurement strategies and processes.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in high-value, high-risk procurement, preferably within a government agency.
  • A deep understanding of procurement principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach.

Estimated Salary
