Key Responsibilities:- Empower young individuals to make positive life choices
- Assist with daily routines to promote independence
- Develop effective communication skills to engage with young people
- Support domestic tasks, shopping, cleaning, and meal preparation
- Administer medication safely and responsibly
- Implement behavior support plans to promote well-being
- Document daily shift notes accurately and thoroughly
- A valid NSW driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Comprehensive car insurance coverage
- A current Working with Children's Check clearance
- At least six months of recent paid experience as a Youth Support Worker in a residential setting
- Certified in First Aid and CPR
- A minimum qualification of Cert IV in Youth Support or Diploma of Community Services
- Evidence of two COVID-19 vaccinations through Medicare
