Residential Care Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Residential Care Assistant House Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in residential care.
This role involves overseeing the daily care of young people by residential care workers within their designated residential care home, particularly when the supervisor is unavailable.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in residential care, especially in a therapeutic environment. Leadership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Key Selection Criteria:- Awareness of Aboriginal culture and issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people, and families.
- Relevant Diploma with substantial experience, including four (4) mandatory competencies.
- Experience and knowledge of residential care, particularly in a therapeutic setting.
- Ability to supervise, lead, and support a team of residential care workers.
- Experience working with young people with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Skills in developing behavioral management programs for children and adolescents with challenging behaviors.
