Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Risk Framework & Reporting Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for monitoring risk performance against internal risk appetite, providing data-driven insights, and coordinating risk reporting. The successful candidate will also serve as the secretary to the Australia Risk Management Committee, chaired by the Chief Risk Officer.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage risk reporting needs, including quarterly reports to the Australia Risk Management Committee and Senior Officer Outside Australia.
- Assist in reviewing and maintaining the Risk Management Framework for Northern Trust Australia, ensuring alignment with global frameworks.
- Advise first lines on the application of Risk Management Framework elements.
- Integrate risk into business planning through risk appetite review and line 2 risk assessment of strategic/business initiatives.
- Monitor risk performance against appetite and use KRIs and metrics to report on risk management.
- Conduct risk culture assessments and develop action plans to support maturity.
- Support the delivery of risk culture initiatives to strengthen risk culture.
- Assist in delivering annual risk management declarations to APRA, including documenting supporting risk assessments and evidence.
- Provide secretarial support to the CRO as secretary for the Australia Risk Management Committee.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in risk management, preferably with 5-7 years of experience in risk management within Australia's financial services or APRA-regulated entities. The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in Business/Law/Risk or a related field and have a strong understanding of risk management frameworks, risk culture, and APRA requirements.
