About the Role

As a Whistleblower Program Adviser, you'll play a key role in managing and maintaining the program's frameworks and system administration, whistleblower intake and initial assessment, developing and delivering reporting involving data analytics, insights, themes, and emerging risks, record keeping and administrative processes and procedures, monitoring and managing the Program's control framework, and assisting with Risk Theme Officer delegate responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage initial contacts with whistleblowers, assessing escalation triggers, setting up cases for triage by the Whistleblower Program Advisers, and maintaining accurate and current program records in accordance with ANZ's whistleblower policy and procedures and relevant legislation.
  2. Manage and maintain Whistleblower Program frameworks and systems, including case management system, contract and budget management, training allocations, communications coordination, and coordination.
  3. Develop and deliver regular reports for senior stakeholders, including data quality assurance, data analytics, insights, themes, and emerging risks, and for external stakeholders as required.
  4. Monitor and manage controls and approaches to compliance, including mitigating control failures, monitoring and reporting on KRIs and tolerances as a L1 Control Operator under the Non Financial Risk Framework, and assisting with NFR L2 Risk Theme Officer delegate responsibilities.
  5. Assist Whistleblower Program Team with preparing and delivering specialised training, program promotion and awareness activities, Group and Program initiatives, enhancements, and maintenance.

  • Ability to work independently (with some oversight) and in teams.
  • Growth mindset, proactive, and willingness to learn.
  • Frameworks and systems management experience, including managing user access, providing systems support, customisations and assurance.
  • Good appreciation of non financial risk.
  • Control/compliance monitoring and management experience.
