Asset Management Professional

This role entails providing strategic asset management support to organisational areas and designated IT equipment and software. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to user requests, collaborating with desktop support teams to resolve minor issues, maintaining compliance documentation, and tracking software licenses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive asset management support for organisational areas and designated IT equipment and software
  • Respond to user inquiries regarding asset-related matters
  • Collaborate with desktop support teams to resolve minor asset-related problems
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance documentation related to asset management
  • Track and manage software licenses to ensure adherence to licensing agreements
  • Compile and analyse data related to asset usage, cost, performance, and compliance
  • Assist with audit preparation by gathering and providing relevant asset data
  • Respond to audits and reviews by correcting discrepancies and addressing noted issues and concerns
  • Monitor and recommend improvements in the asset tracking process
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement updates to the tracking management system

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years' relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
