Are you an expert in data centre IT infrastructure and facilities? Do you have a passion for delivering high-quality customer experiences?

We're seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Facilities Operations Centre (FOC) Engineer. As a key member of our global engineering operations organisation, you'll be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our data centres.

\

As an FOC Engineer, your primary focus will be on monitoring the physical infrastructure of our data centres and serving as a central point of contact for internal and external teams. You'll work closely with our software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and other vital roles to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • \
  • Monitoring the data centre's Amazon facilities infrastructure platform\
  • Serving as a point of contact for internal and external teams\
  • Assisting with the development of communication and escalation protocols\
  • Contributes to outage post mortem analysis\
  • Ensures records are updated in a timely manner\
  • Assists with coordination and communication during emergency recovery efforts\
  • Develops tools to enhance team performance\
  • Supports a 24x7 environment (shift work may include weekends and holidays)\
  • Hold or be able to attain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance\
  • 2+ years of Electrical or Mechanical Experience\
  • 1+ years of experience with Building and/or Electrical Platform Management Systems\
  • 2+ years' experience in Data Centre Engineering/Operations\
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong Microsoft Office skills\
  • Ability to maintain SLAs through proactive issue detection, documentation, and root cause analysis\
