As a Data Centre Engineering Operations Technician, you will be the front-line responder for hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation. This role involves reviewing the management of routine and corrective maintenance on various critical systems.
Responsibilities- Review performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.
- Establish performance metrics to ensure efficiency, sustainability, and reliability in data center operations.
- Collaborate with teams to design, implement, commission, and build out new facilities to meet growing demands.
- Develop and execute projects to increase current facility capacity, efficiency, sustainability, and reliability.
- Manage facility assets, provision infrastructure, and oversee inventory asset management to maintain optimal performance.
- Coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors to ensure work is done according to established practices and local legislation.
- Work closely with business leaders to manage projects, optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, sustainability, and efficiency.
This role requires strong technical knowledge and analytical skills. A good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems is essential. The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with diverse teams is also crucial.
