Job Overview

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We're responsible for maintaining a highly reliable and available cloud environment.

We support all AWS data centers and servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure our customers have continual access to innovation.

You'll join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to deliver high standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost.

The Infrastructure Operations team is looking for Data Centre Technicians to join our expanding team. You'll be the primary resolver, troubleshooter, and problem-solver for data centre infrastructure issues.

  • Problem Solving: Engage in physical data centre activities, prioritise and resolve trouble tickets efficiently.
  • Escalation Point: Be the technical troubleshooter for all systems and problems.

Key responsibilities include maintaining system reliability, troubleshooting technical issues, remediation of physical layer outages, participating in data centre power & cooling events, and meeting 24x7 On-Call requirements.
