**Job Overview:**
The role of a Senior Administrative Professional is to provide high-level administrative support to senior executives, ensuring they are well-organised and informed.
The team relies on the skills and expertise of this professional to contribute to a culture of collaboration and efficiency within the business support community.
This role supports senior executives in achieving objectives and priorities under the direction of the Business Management Team.
The Business Management Team oversees divisional operations and administration, manages stakeholder relationships, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality executive level support, including maintaining confidentiality, prioritising appointments, managing stakeholders, and scheduling travel;
- Acting as the point of contact for senior executives, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, directing and actioning requests;
- Serving as an onsite liaison point for facilities management, maintenance needs, office supplies, events, couriers, and visitors;
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to drive outcomes across the organisation;
- Maintaining a positive influence within the working environment and engaging with the team and business unit;
- Managing incoming correspondence, prioritising, and assisting with sign-offs;
- Supporting corporate expenses and procurement processes;
- Ensuring teamwork and collaboration within the Business Management Team;
- Providing administrative assistance across the division;
- Developing effective working relationships;
- Liaising with peers in coordinating administrative activities;
- Staying up-to-date on APRA-wide activities, policies, procedures, and systems.
Requirements:
- Experience providing senior administrative support to executive leaders, preferably in government, banking, or legal services;
- High integrity, with the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information;
- Significant communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills for liaising, addressing enquiries, and developing relationships;
- High-level organisational, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
- Interpersonal and negotiation skills for addressing enquiries and developing relationships with both internal and external parties;
- A proactive approach to obtaining information to support decision making and service delivery;
- Eligibility to gain a Baseline Security clearance through the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
