Job Summary:
">We are seeking experienced and dedicated professionals to lead significant initiatives across New South Wales. As a Director, you will play a critical role in advancing the NSW Government's commitments to Aboriginal communities.
">About the Roles:
">The Aboriginal Affairs Group at the Premier's Department is responsible for delivering meaningful change and supporting the NSW Government's commitments to Aboriginal communities. We are looking for leaders with demonstrated capabilities and cultural confidence to undertake critical roles in reform, innovation, and community partnerships.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Lead transformational reform, healing, and community partnerships on behalf of Aboriginal Affairs across NSW
">- Provide leadership and deep community connections to support the delivery of strategic goals
">- Develop and implement complex programs and initiatives that advance Aboriginal interests and deliver outcomes within government frameworks
">Requirements:
">- Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Identity & Leadership: You identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and bring lived experience that directly informs your approach to advancing Aboriginal interests
">- Stakeholder Relationship Excellence: Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
">- Strategic Program Leadership: Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and managing complex programs and initiatives
">- Government & Policy Acumen: Deep understanding of government operations, policy development, and reform processes
">- People Leadership & Team Building: Exceptional leadership capabilities with experience building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect
