Leadership Opportunity for Aboriginal Student Support

About the Role:

The Team Leader plays a vital role in supporting students and Aboriginal Student Support Officers within the Sydney Region. You will support students in achieving positive outcomes of success for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students while building effective stakeholder relationships.

We have this rewarding opportunity where you can make a real difference in the lives of students and your communities. This is a leadership role on a Permanent, full-time basis, located at our Strathfield Campus.

About You:

You will have strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience in building relationships with students and other stakeholders, as well as guiding and supporting a team of Aboriginal Student Support Officers. Bringing your experience and influencing skills, you will share your knowledge, consult, and collaborate on cultural appropriate strategies. Being resilient and flexible, you are comfortable with constructively managing conflict, mediating, and managing issues with sensitivity and confidentiality. You have demonstrated ability in using Office 365 and a strong background in administration (highly desirable within the education sector).

Key Requirements:

1. Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience.
