Lead Pharmacy Clinician

This is a unique opportunity to lead and deliver high-level pharmacy services, champion culturally responsive care, and drive change within the healthcare system.

As a Senior Pharmacist, you will play a pivotal role in improving medicine access, continuity of care, and health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hospital pharmacy experience, strong leadership and clinical judgement, excellent communication and organisation skills, and cultural responsiveness.

Additional requirements include compliance with Working With Children Check, National Police Clearance, and subject to immunisation requirements.

About the Role

This purpose-driven role involves working closely with the Lead Pharmacist – Aboriginal Health to develop and implement initiatives that improve health equity through strategic, clinical, and community-focused leadership.

The successful candidate will be a dedicated pharmacist with a passion for improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and a commitment to providing world-class care to South Australians.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent
  • AHPRA registration
  • Extensive hospital pharmacy experience with strong leadership and clinical judgement
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and cultural responsiveness
