We are seeking a passionate and experienced Support Worker to join our team at Open Minds. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to our clients with complex needs living in the Logan region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimise client support through leveraging your experience and expertise in Mental Health and Disability services
  • Help clients reach their goals set out in their personal support plans
  • Implement planned activities that promote client independence
  • Champion client's achievements
  • Lead activities that use community resources as desired by client
  • Provide domestic assistance to clients, which includes light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Schedule and assist with medical appointments
  • Report client's requirements and reinforce positive behaviour
What You Need to Get Started
  • Prior experience of working as a Support Worker with complex clients and restrictive practices
  • Open Drivers Licence
  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearance and Blue Card
  • NDIS Workers Orientation Certificate or if you need to obtain:
