Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our business resilience and continuity efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enhancing our skills, building stronger customer relationships, and leveraging innovation and technology to contribute to a more resilient Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business resilience frameworks, policies, and tools to ensure seamless operations.
  • Establish and oversee critical operations requirements to minimize disruptions.
  • Provide expert advice, assurance, and regulatory alignment to support business growth.
  • Foster a strong culture of resilience through training, awareness, and employee engagement.
  • Lead crisis/incident response and embed lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive business outcomes and mentor junior team members.

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g., business, law, finance, commerce, IT, mathematics, risk, compliance) is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in operational risk and/or operational resilience roles within a financial services environment.
  • A strong understanding of insurance operations and prudential regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk and control frameworks, including CPS 230.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with senior management and drive business outcomes.
