Procurement Specialist Role

Job Description:

You will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth procurement of finished goods from suppliers, ensuring delivery performance and maintaining optimal stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Forecast and manage finished goods requirements across suppliers, ensuring delivery performance.
  • Use inventory management systems to maintain optimal stock levels across distribution centres and trade store networks.
  • Coordinate import deliveries with customs clearance agents.
  • Manage and resolve blocked or parked invoices with suppliers and accounts.
  • Analyse inventory data to minimise freight costs, touchpoints, and obsolete or expired stock.
  • Maintain accurate master data to support JIT and safety stock levels across all distribution centres.
  • Lead supplier reviews and support team training and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience in supply chain, production planning, and inventory management.
  • Customer-focused mindset with clear communication skills.
  • Analytical with a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Process-oriented, focused on efficiency and standardisation.
  • Reliable team player with integrity and relationship-building skills.
