
Senior HR Advisor/HR Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced and outcomes-driven HR professional with a strong generalist background across employee relations, performance management, talent development, and change initiatives. You will have proven ability to build trusted partnerships with business leaders, delivering strategic and practical people solutions that drive engagement, capability, and performance. Passionate about creating positive workplace cultures, combining strong communication skills with sound knowledge of HR best practice and employment legislation.
About the Position
This role plays a critical part in supporting and advising line managers across all areas of people management to build and maintain a high-performance culture. Key responsibilities include the implementation of HR policies and services, managing employee relations and casework, and supporting wellbeing, learning and development, and organisational change initiatives. The role also contributes to strategic recruitment efforts, talent development planning, remuneration reviews, and onboarding/offboarding processes. Additionally, it involves monitoring key HR metrics to support data-informed decision-making and collaborating with the broader HR team on policy development and organisational priorities.
Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or ER/IR.
- Demonstrated senior HR generalist experience with strong capability in partnering with business leaders.
- Comprehensive understanding of HR practices, industrial instruments, and employment law, with proven ability to apply them in practical settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels and manage sensitive situations with diplomacy.
- Highly organised and outcome-focused, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Experience in change management, talent development, L&D coordination, and performance culture initiatives.
- Eligible to acquire and hold ASIC accreditation if required.
