
Workforce Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development expert to join our team. As a key member of our workforce development function, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organisation.
Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver impactful learning programs that build core capabilities, empower leaders, and support strategic People & Culture initiatives.
You will take the lead in identifying and coordinating employee learning initiatives across the organisation. You will offer expert advice on development options, co-design tailored learning solutions, and drive projects that support professional growth.
Design and deliver learning programs focused on capability growth, leadership, and strategic People & Culture priorities. Develop training proposals with clear objectives, outcomes, and delivery plans. Partner with internal experts and external providers to facilitate and coordinate high-quality training. Guide staff on development pathways for themselves and their teams. Consult with stakeholders to identify training needs and implement effective learning solutions. Leverage technology and AI tools to streamline course delivery, marketing, registration, and reporting. Continuously evaluate and improve training programs and processes. Support the execution of strategic initiatives aligned to organisational development goals.
To succeed in this role, you must be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to learning and development. You should bring a blend of creativity, empathy, and strong organisational skills – and thrive when collaborating with diverse teams.
- A degree in a relevant discipline, with significant experience in employee learning and development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven success in designing and delivering learning solutions that drive meaningful outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
