Human Resources Manager - APAC

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to drive efficient and effective HR management within our APAC business.

  • This is a generalist HR role that will require travel within the region of APAC from time to time.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving all HR policies and procedures to support employees, providing advice and guidance to managers in areas of employment law, and managing all areas of HR for the region.

  • Provide expert guidance to Managers and stakeholders in resolving all HR issues.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and review work practices to reflect current employment legislation.
  • Manage employee relations issues including grievance and disciplinary actions.
  • Manage sickness absence and develop strategies to improve attendance.
  • Drive all HR initiatives for the region including engagement strategies, remuneration and benefits.
  • Manage Time & Attendance processes to align with payroll processing.
  • Promote a culture of equality and diversity.
  • Custodian of all relevant job descriptions for the region.
  • Develop and maintain good People files for the region and periodically audit for relevance of retention.
  • Coordinate the Onboarding of new starters including all regulatory training.
  • Ensure effective exit management for departing employees.
  • Analysis and reporting on HR statistics.
  • Support and drive our Company Culture and provide initiatives or action that may enhance our Employee Value Proposition.
  • Work closely with Finance and Payroll processing function to ensure accuracy and timely management of changes.
  • In consultation with Safety & Security Officer and Managers, support internal compliance and legislative audits.
  • Maintain up to date training records and Matrix to ensure all employees qualifications and licenses are current and valid for their position.
  • Manage the HR database to ensure data integrity for the region.
