Compassionate Trauma Therapist

Culturally competent and trauma-informed therapeutic counselling and support services are delivered to individuals who have experienced sexual abuse, domestic and family violence, and harmful sexualised behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide therapeutic counselling and support services to children, young people, and adults affected by trauma.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments, crisis interventions, risk assessment and safety planning, advocacy, psychoeducation, and group work.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of clients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- A minimum of 3 years relevant clinical experience post-graduation providing trauma-informed therapeutic support services.
- Current AHPRA Registration or Social Work degree and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Valid NSW Drivers Licence and Working With Children Check.
