We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Counsellor to join our team, providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals affected by domestic and family violence, as well as those who have experienced sexual assault.

About the Role:

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering therapeutic counselling services to clients who have experienced trauma. This will involve conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing support and guidance to clients. Additionally, you will be working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality therapeutic counselling services to clients who have experienced trauma;
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans;
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to relevant laws and policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in providing trauma-informed therapeutic services;
  • Current AHPRA registration or Social Work degree and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW);
  • Valid NSW Driver's Licence;
  • Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role;
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC).
